Terms of Service and Billing Policy

Terms and Conditions

1. Governing Law and Company Information
The service provider (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is duly established in the Republic of China (Taiwan). These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the local regulations.

2. Refund Policy
This service is a digital automated scanning service. Pursuant to Article 19, Paragraph 2 of the Consumer Protection Act (Taiwan) and the "Criteria for the Reasonable Exceptions to the Right to Rescind Communication Transactions," this service is classified as "non-tangible digital content or online services provided with the consumer's prior consent." By completing the payment, you provide prior consent for the service to commence immediately (including account provisioning or scanning activities). Once the service has commenced, the 7-day right of rescission is excluded, and the service is non-refundable.

3. Additional IP Scope
Any additional IP addresses or domains added to the scan scope will incur a fee as listed below
Standard Compliance (Quarterly Scan) : TWD 1,000 (excl. VAT) per IP/domain
Continuous Compliance (Monthly Scan) : TWD 3,000 (excl. VAT) per IP/domain

4. Re-scan Policy
Each paid scan includes one (1) complimentary re-scan. Any subsequent re-scans (the second re-scan and beyond) will be charged a service fee as listed below
Standard Compliance (Quarterly Scan) : TWD 1,000 (excl. VAT) per IP/domain
Continuous Compliance (Monthly Scan) : NWD 3,000 (excl. VAT) per IP/domain

For requests under Articles 3 and 4, a payment link will be provided through service@securevectors.com. Both parties agree that the requested services will only be scheduled and executed upon receipt of full payment.


5. Time Interval Limitation
To ensure the validity and timeliness of compliance data, the interval between the initial scan and the re-scan, or between any consecutive re-scans, must not exceed fourteen (14) calendar days.

6. Forfeiture and Re-Ordering
If an account is not activated within or a re-scan is not performed within the 14-day window due to client-side factors, the complimentary re-scan will be forfeited. Any subsequent scanning requests will be processed as a new order and billed accordingly.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising out of the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific scan instance. The Company does not guarantee that the scanning will detect all security vulnerabilities.

Pricing and Exchange Rate Policy

1. Tax and Currency
Pursuant to the tax laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the location of the Company, all pricing is calculated and quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD).


2. Reference Rates

Any amounts displayed in USD or other foreign currencies are provided for reference purposes only, based on current market exchange rates at settlement.


3. Final Settlement

The final charge is subject to the actual currency and total amount effectively paid through your payment provider (e.g., credit card issuer or payment gateway) at settlement. All services will be executed only upon confirmation of full payment.


Any matters not covered herein shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). In the event of any dispute, both parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

Declaration of Agreement:
I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Billing Policy. I understand and agree that this service is provided by a Taiwan-based company. Pursuant to the local Consumer Protection Act, this digital service excludes the 7-day right of rescission once payment is completed and service commences; therefore, it is non-refundable. By checking the box on the main form, I acknowledge that I fully understand and accept all the terms mentioned above (including service rules, billing policies, and legal jurisdiction).

Billing and Invoice Information: Invoice company name, TAX ID / VAT number, invoice delivery email address.

· Event Registration (Events):
Necessary information as required by specific event registration forms (e.g., Google Forms).

· Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)

· Other reasonable and appropriate safeguards as required by applicable laws

 

7. Data Retention Period

The Company retains personal data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

· Transaction, billing, and tax-related data: Retained for periods required by applicable laws and business practices

· General contact, event, or marketing data: Retained until you withdraw your consent or request deletion

· Website analytics data: Retained in aggregated or de-identified form

Upon expiration of the retention period, personal data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws.
